Quality Assurance

Bexley Crossroads Caring for Carers service is for carers and people with care needs in accordance with our charity’s objectives.

As members of CROSSROADS Association we adhere to our internal system of quality assurance, which is called CROQUET.  We are audited by the CROSSROADS Association and retained our Level 3 status in July 2008. The scheme has a lead Trustee on Quality  who has strategic responsibilities on our Quality Assurance programmes.

In addition to our internal quality assurance programme we will also adhere to the standards for domiciliary care produced by the National Care Standards Commission, the Kings Fund Quality Standards for Local Carer Support Services, and the General Social Care Councils’ Code of Conduct for Social Care Workers and Employers of Social Care Workers.

The scheme is also  inspected by the Commission for Social Care Inspectorate who assess whether services are meeting the needs of people who use them. Please click here to view our CSCi reports.

The scheme achieved its Investor in People award in  2004 and successfully retained our standard for a further three years in June 2007 showing that our investment in our staff improves our performance.

The scheme has also attained endorsement to use the Charity Commissions kitemark for quality standards.
